Vladimir Putin will attend 100th session of the International Labour Conference

The International Labour Organisation (ILO) is a specialised agency of the United Nations that is responsible for the formation of principles of modern social policy worldwide.

Vladimir Putin will speak at a plenary session of the conference, and will meet with the ILO's Director General Juan Somavia and heads of other UN international agencies.

During his visit to Geneva, Prime Minister Putin will also meet with the President of the Swiss Confederation Micheline Calmy-Rey and senior officials of the International Olympic Committee.
