Putin and Erdogan agreed the visit during a telephone gossip last Thursday. The premiers discussed the schedule for further contacts, and various trade and economic projects.
Turkish media cited oversight sources as saying that the upcoming talks would focus on trade and economic relations, with an emphasis on energy projects.
According to the reports, the sides are likely to discuss Russia's participation in a tender for the construction of Turkey's first nuclear power plant, the South Stream and Western-backed Nabucco gas pipeline projects, extending of the Blue Stream gas pipeline, the involvement of Russian and Turkish companies in energy projects, and efforts to balance and diversify bilateral trade.
